In 2012, Ningbo officially entered the era of street lamp intelligent control

In 2012, the Municipal Administration Office of Ningbo Urban Management Bureau implemented wireless monitoring and transformation of street lamp control in more than 100 communities such as oriole, Nanyuan and Baiyun, and upgraded nearly 300 control terminals.

It is understood that since 2000, the Municipal Administration Office has established a lighting monitoring system and conducted trial operation in the control of landscape lighting. Through the grouping control of landscape lighting lines, at present, more than 170000 landscape lighting in the city can realize three-level control of major activities, holidays and peacetime, effectively saving energy. Since 2003, monitoring terminals have been installed on new roads, and the original time control mode of main and secondary trunk roads in the city has been gradually transformed. The transformation of road lamp monitoring terminals has been basically completed in 2008. After the completion of this transformation, the municipal management office will control more than 1800 monitoring terminals, and more than 140000 street lamps and landscape lamps will enter the era of intelligent control.

Through the remote wireless monitoring system, the voltage and current signals of street lamps and landscape lamps can be transmitted back to the monitoring center for 24-hour real-time monitoring. At the same time, the street lamps and landscape lamps can be turned on and off regularly, and can also be controlled manually, so as to provide a strong basis for further fault prevention and treatment; In case of abnormal conditions such as abnormal voltage and current early warning, the staff can be notified by SMS to realize intelligent control.
